A festival of ideas, skills and craft that will move us towards a brighter future.
Camden Inspire returns again to explore innovative and artistic responses to climate change. This year, we are gathering as a community to envisage the future we want to build.
Vitally, our programme explores the solutions that already exist, and how they make our dream of a brighter future viable. We will exchange skills and ideas that will equip us to contribute to a future we can be excited for.

❋ COLLABORATIVE BUILD
Our central activity is the community build of a moveable shade structure, developing the skills to make your own shade on your street, a local park or wherever you notice people or animals need it.
❋ CREATIVE CRAFTS
A programme hosted by local artists and organisations that explore crafts that draw on future technologies and indigenous knowledge.
❋ PANELS & ROUNDTABLES
Two key panels will consider the climate change landscape at community and global levels - and how our collective work can have a real impact.
❋ COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
This is a space to make new connections, seed project ideas and become aware of action in your neighbourhood. Whether that’s over a discussion at the community feast or working together on a new craft, this is about building effective networks.
Camden is buzzing with technological and creative responses to the climate crisis. The challenge Camden Inspire responds to: connecting that work to our local communities, equipping them to take meaningful action.
